Candice Sonko has been working alongside Dr. Elizabeth for many years. Colleagues at a previous firm, Candice followed Dr. Elizabeth when Atlanta Face & Body opened its doors in 2012.
Candice is there to take care of the patient from start to finish. When the patients need someone to talk to, Candice is right there to listen and be their support system. “I am available to hold their hand, sometimes literally, all along the way,” she divulges.
Candice is by your side from the very first appointment. If patients are nervous about surgery, she explains every step of the process, from initial consultation and the procedure to the recovery schedule and any financial concerns.
Her favorite part of her job is seeing the way patients look at themselves differently. “Just seeing the beautiful transformations—the improved self-esteem, the renewed confidence—makes this a very rewarding place to work,” says Candice.
Dr. Elizabeth and the staff are a close-knit group and love to embrace their patients into their circle. Patients have stated that coming here is like going and hanging out with their own family.
Candice is especially proud of the way AF&B sees to the comfort of patients and their families. “We want to make this a very positive experience for everyone. It’s all about patients and their loved ones.”
When not helping patients at AF&B, Candice cherishes the time she spends with her family, which includes her husband, two daughters, and a son. And, being a Georgia native, she also gets to spend quality time with a large extended family in the area.
