“I am committed to educating my clients on the science of what is happening to their skin and how we can use our advanced modalities to reverse, correct, or prevent their skin concerns.”
Georgia native Madison Ballester first fell in love with professional skincare and makeup through her time with competitive dancing. Today, as a Licensed Aesthetician at Atlanta Face & Body, she has a passion for the art and science of medical aesthetics and its transformative results for her clients.
Madison began formal dance training early, started competing nationally with a professional dance team, and worked as a professional competitive dancer throughout high school. However, her career direction was re-channeled away from the rigors on the competitive dance stage to the spa industry.
Her own aesthetician at the time encouraged her to make a transition and pursue an education in the field of medical aesthetics. “I had learned from years of stage make-up that if you take good care of your skin, you don’t have to wear much make-up. My experiences drew me naturally to the science of skincare.”
Madison graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics in Dunwoody, which is especially known for its science-focused medical aesthetics training. She earned her aesthetician licensure, her laser licensure, and additional certifications in medical-grade chemical peels and pre- and post-operative lymphatic drainage. Her passion for the medical side of aesthetics soon led her to Dr. Elizabeth and Atlanta Face & Body.
“Some practices may have a disconnect between surgical and non-surgical procedures. But Atlanta Face & Body offers a seamless relationship between the two,” Madison explains. “Dr. Elizabeth does absolutely amazing work.”
One of Madison’s favorite treatments trending today is Vivace®. “Radio Frequency microneedling technology delivers the energy in small doses underneath the skin so that surface layers remain unharmed,” she explains. “The client experiences less downtime and is able to get back to work the next day.”
Madison is also a big fan of photofacials that use laser technology to” brighten, tighten and lighten.” The laser treatment gives the skin a radiance and glow after other treatments such as Ultherapy®. She is also a strong advocate of integrating pharmaceutical-grade skincare into the treatment plan to maximize results.
In her free time, Madison focuses on staying healthy through yoga and meditation. She also loves being outside as often as she can and visiting her family in Florida. She confesses to spending too much of her free time researching everything new in skincare.
Madison is certified to perform Chemical Peels, VI Peel®, Exfoliation, Vivace® Microneedling with Radio Frequency, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photofacials, SkinWave Hydrafacials, Microdermabrasion, PEAR 3D Skin Analysis, Rejuvenation Facials, Laser Hair Removal, Laser Vein Removal and Laser Pigment Removal.
