Typically, rhinoplasty is an outpatient procedure performed with IV sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the complexity of the surgery.
Initial recover usually involves wearing a nasal splint for a week. You will likely wear a nasal splint for about a week. Swelling is common and there may be some bruising around the eyes, which will improve after a few days. Long term refinement of the nose continues to evolve over months.
Even a minor correction can make a difference in overall facial harmony. As healing progresses, the final shape of your new nose will be apparent.
