There’s no denying that things are a bit different these days. Health and safety have risen to the forefront of everyone’s minds. At Atlanta Face & Body, the safety and well-being of our patients and staff have always been our top priority. As a medical office and accredited ambulatory surgery facility, our level of cleanliness and sterility have always been kept to the highest standards. But as we adapt to a new wave of precautionary measures in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’d like to share with you some changes we’ve embraced at our office to ensure it’s the utmost safe environment for you as well as our staff.
As soon as you arrive for your appointment, you’ll notice a new station set up in our reception area. There, we will have masks, gloves, and a brief symptom questionnaire for all our patients. And you get to keep the pen! We’ll then take a quick temperature reading with our no-touch infrared thermometer.
Each member of our staff, who will also be wearing gloves and a mask, will have their temperatures checked daily before interacting with patients. In addition, the staff will be wearing scrubs that will be changed each day and thoroughly washed before being worn again.
Every treatment room and common area at our practice will be properly sanitized at the beginning of each day and immediately following each patient interaction. Rest assured, we won’t cut any corners on this.
While we’re spacing our appointments out to ensure proper social distancing at any given time, we plan for you to have little to no wait time when you come see us. If for any reason you have to wait a moment before we bring you back to a treatment room, you’ll find that our waiting area has been rearranged to make sure there’s ample space between all seats. If you’re more comfortable waiting in your car until we’re ready for you, we’ll just send you a text as soon as your treatment room is ready so you can come straight back.
You’ll also notice an abundance of hand sanitizer when you arrive. In fact, sanitizer stations are available throughout the office, with at least one in every single room.
We love our patients and are so happy to be a part of your lives again. All of these new measures, though different than what we’re all used to, are to make sure your visit with us is the safest it can possibly be. No matter how different it may seem for the time being, we can’t wait to see you soon!
